Who is Heartwood Mandala?
Heartwood Mandala is a global sangha continuing the legacy and work of Heartwood Refuge, founded by Venerables Pannadipa and Pannavati. We are a community of lay and monastic practitioners with the shared aim of learning the true BuddhaDharma. Venerable Pannavati and our Master, Dorje Chang Buddha III, taught their students/disciples to practice the lineage of the Buddha, without limiting or discriminating by lineage or sect. We understand people are of different “minds”, propensities and levels of understanding. So, naturally, factions have arisen as patriarchs and contemporary teachers endeavored to use skillful means to expound the Dharma to living beings. Within the training of Theravada, Chan/Zen, Mahayana and Vajrayana “schools”, there are suitable methods for every human to attain accomplishments. According to Buddhist principles and as a community, we support one another to do so. Please join us!
